More and more parcels arrive from our sponsors CSP, Dieter Schmidt-Lorenz and Wolfsburg West. Wherever possible we use NOS (New Old Stock) parts. Not only rubber seals and other rather unsightly things, but also some eye candy, like that chromed steering box and shaft coupler. Additionally the Scorcher gets a cross shaft to connect the steering box with the steering column. That is needed because of the body lift.
The old Bug Eye nose cone from the 70s gets new headlights. It's not that easy, because the glass fibre part has no mounting brakets at all. Like so often we have to develop something ourselves.
